The musicians Dean and Britta have scored pop-artist Andy Warhol’s classic screen tests. The result is pop-culture splendor. Here’s 13 Most Beautiful, with the screen tests from Edie Sedgwick and Billy Name. What a wonderful project.

Well, it’s finally Friday. Time to relax a little and enjoy some art. We’ve been mesmerized by the ingenuity in Drawingmachine by Eske Rex. Check out the beautiful clip above.

This Friday Find is a beautiful 1816 English Sampler, framed and ready for display. This amazing article of 19th century charm measures 22″ by 23″ and is proudly displayed in an olive wood frame.

Such a testament to old-world artisanship, this sampler deserves to be the center of it’s own stunning display.

Despite a terrible antique attack, Cone Ball had a great time down in (mostly) sunny L.A. this past week for the Antiques, Objects & Art show. Thanks to the great folks behind the show! Here’s a look at our booth and some of our favorite curios we saw this weekend.

This authentic and primitive tin advertising Rooms sign is complete with what appears to be the original hanger. Measuring in at 34 3/4″ long by 11″ high, this beautiful sign would be perfect for the collector or business looking to show off… all their rooms! What else? The design and structure of this amazing sign suggests a European origin, but otherwise it’s history is unknown. Overall, this advertising gem makes a statement.

This modern sculpture is a Betty Feves original. The adult Feves (1918 – 1985) was an Oregon-based artist, but her rich artistic history includes time in New York in the 1940′s, where she studied at Columbia University and worked under artist Ossip Zadkine with the Art Students League of NY in 1943.

This particular Feves measures 18 1/2″ by 22″ without the base. $4,500.

Parisian artist Serge Roche created many home accent pieces with over-sized shells, including this pearl in shell objet d’ art. This circa-1960 clamshell could transform into a coffee table or leave it be and gaze at its glory.

This astounding object measures 26 1/2″ from front to back, 21″ wide and 14 1/4″ tall. The pearl is 4″ in diameter and is as shiney as the real thing.
